Wine Pairing Event
Sorry for not having posted recently, and for keeping this one so short. Between family events, restaurant events, my regular job, and preparing for this upcoming Wine Pairing event, I haven't had much time. I did visit Zuni's cafe recently, and will be posting on that soon and a little something on the Drake's Bay situation.
Anyway, please follow the link to the May 23rd Wine Pairing event. I know it's kind of cyclical to have the event advertisement with a link to my blog and my blog with a link to the event advertisement, but I'm getting it out there as much as I can. It should be quite the experience. 6 different wines paired with 6 different Oysters, all which we specifically tested and found to be wonderful. Plus, I get to stand up and get all nerdy about Oysters to a bunch of fellow enthusiasts. Randall Grahm of Bonny Doon Vineyards will be there with his wines. I just recently heard about him (since my wine knowledge is embarrassing), but from what I've read, baller sums it up. Jay-Z could appropriately describe it as "he's not a businessman, he's a business, man." I'm really looking forward to meeting him, and hopefully you will also when you come to the event. Limited number of tix are available, so let me know if you want in.
